Small teams often write job descriptions in Notion anyway. Keep your open roles in a Notion database and show them on your website's careers page, so hiring managers can post and close roles without touching the site.

Set up the roles database

  • Title: the job title.
  • Team, Location and Type (full-time, part-time, contract).
  • Status: Open or Closed. Filter the view to Open so closed roles disappear from the page.

Write each role page

Every role is a page in the database. A simple structure candidates can scan:

  • About the role and the team.
  • What you'll do and what we're looking for.
  • Salary range and benefits, if you share them.
  • How to apply: a link to your application form (for example Tally, Typeform or Google Forms) or an email address.

Put it on your careers page

Add a short intro about the company above the roles, then embed the page on your site. Candidates open a role inside the embed and follow your apply link.

Put it on your website in 3 steps

  1. Share the page from Notion. Open the page in Notion, click Share, turn on Share to web and copy the link.
